I know this is a complex issue, but, who knows, it could work.
There could be, for example, a dedicated forum for proposing libraries for wrapping.
The proposal could come from the developer, to see how many people are interested; or from an user, to see how many developers would be willing to wrap it, and users to contribute.
Thinks to solve:
- How to make sure that all users pay for the library? Pay in advance? A kind of paypal with a kind of intermediary
- How to make sure the developer finish the wrap?
- Could it be another way of incomings for Anywhere Software?
- Make the library available for everyone after it has been developed?
- What happen if more than a programmer is interested in develope the wrap? They propose his/her bugdet?
- .....
I thought about this when I saw
